How It Started

Hi, I’m Sara, and my path to specializing in gut health began with a mother’s determination and a life-changing journey that reshaped my purpose.

In 2001, my son was diagnosed with autism. I was ready to support him with all the love and resources I could find. But two years later, he began experiencing debilitating gastrointestinal symptoms,  relentless pain, inflammation, and no clear answers.

We pursued every medical avenue available: specialists, colonoscopies, endoscopies, allergy panels, blood work. Despite our efforts, we were left with uncertainty and no actionable diagnosis. Watching my child suffer without relief was heartbreaking, and deeply disempowering.

That moment became a turning point. I made the decision to bring him home, and I began looking for answers outside the conventional framework. What I found changed his life. And mine.
