Gut Healing Immunity Tea: Garlic, Cinnamon, Cardamom, and Ginger

There’s something grounding about pausing for a warm cup of tea.

Beyond comfort, it’s a ritual that signals your body to slow down and receive care. This blend brings together some of nature’s most trusted healers: garlic to strengthen immune defenses and balance your gut bacteria, ginger to soothe digestion and ease inflammation, cinnamon and cardamom for antioxidants and steady blood sugar, and lemon for vitamin C and digestive support.

Together, these ingredients don’t just warm you from the inside out, they nurture your gut, calm your nervous system, and remind your body it’s supported. Think of it as medicine in a mug, and a ritual your gut will thank you for.

Ingredients

    •    2 cups water

    •    2 cinnamon sticks (or 1 tsp ground cinnamon)

    •    4 cardamom pods, lightly crushed

    •    2 inches fresh ginger root, scrubbed and sliced (unpeeled)

    •    1 garlic clove, lightly smashed

    •    Pinch of black pepper or cayenne pepper

    •    ½ lemon (peeled, cut in half, added after steeping; zest peel separately for later use)

Instructions

     1.    Wash ginger well (leave peel on).

    2.    In a small pot, bring water to a gentle boil.

    3.    Add cinnamon, cardamom, ginger slices, and garlic. Reduce to a simmer and cover.

    4.    Simmer 10–15 minutes, then strain.

    5.    Add the peeled lemon half directly into the tea. (Save the peel to zest on salads or other dishes.)

    6.    Stir in a pinch of black pepper or cayenne, and enjoy warm.

A simple ritual, a powerful medicine—sip daily, and let your gut and immunity thrive together.
